If you are in for an adventure movie, then Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian will surely make your day. Prince Caspian is the sequel to the popular and successful first installment of Narnia movies called Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe which is also based on the series of novels by C.S Lewis (there are seven books and Prince Caspian is the second book) that tells the adventures of the four Pevensie siblings into the magical world of Narnia.

Prince Caspian tells a story of Narnia 1300 years after the Pevensie siblings left, which is only a year after in human time. Narnia is in ruins and its creatures are forced to flee and hide from humans called Telmarines, ruled by the ruthless King Miraz and his nephew and heir to the throne, Prince Caspian.

Prince Caspian fled the castle in order to escape from Miraz’s assassination attempts and Caspian calls upon the Pevensies to help him restore Narnia to its power and reclaim the throne from evil Miraz.

Ok, enough with the spoilers. Anyway, I like the second movie in more ways than one:

1. The story is more compelling, more action scenes and more dramatic than the first one. While the first movie is more of a journey of the Pevensie kids to the land of Narnia, Prince Caspian divulges the dark side of humans called the Telmarines, which is death and destruction.

2. The actors portraying the Pevensie sibs have grown and they all look good! William Moseley, who plays High King Peter, has grown into a fine young man while Georgie Henley is still as cute as ever.

3. The storyline is darker, which means there are more emotions involved and characters have developed into more mature personalities. Not only the Pevensie kids, along with Prince Caspian of course, have to battle against magical creatures of the dark side, but also has to deal with humans, who are more ruthless.

4. And lastly, how can I forget about the gorgeous English actor Ben Barnes (I love English actors who got talent) who plays the lead role of Prince Caspian The Tenth (Caspian X). Watch this clip of his interview in the Jimmy Kimmel show and see for yourself the reason he was chosen for the role:
